Harmonious Junk was formed in 2001 as a side project for then James Brown guitarist, Damon Wood. The band has released 3 albums of originals and played upwards of a thousand shows, mostly in the Colorado area. The music is a mix of jazzy funk, psychedelic rock and bluesy soul. Based out of the Denver area, Wood and Co. have been featured in Relix Magazine and won Best Jamband of Denver in Westword magazine. Expect well crafted originals, classic covers and high level musicianship. This trio performance will feature Damon Wood on Guitar and Vocals, Kirk Kuykendall on Bass and Jason Kather on Drums. Under the tutelage of one of the masters of modern music, Wood has taken what he learned from The Godfather of Soul and instilled it into his group, Harmonious Junk. Come see for yourself!
