The Adult Spelling Bee returns to the Rapid City Taproom on Wednesday, November 4, one week after the 2026 return, and yes, it turns out it’s ‘i before e, except in a LOT of words’. It kicks off at 6pm and signups are open NOW, so you’ll have plenty of time left to be smug about nailing “necessary”. C D’S Wings is parked outside from 3 to 8, which means you can study with a pint and a basket of Notorious BRG wings. (our personal fav) 🐝

We are beyond excited for the release of Exhibit 25: our collaboration with the Suzie Cappa Art Center. It comes out Sunday, November 8, and it’s a beer with a lot of hands on it. We brewed this pilsner in October with the artists and a few of the staff, and they went ahead and made the label too, a collage of their own work wrapped around the can. The artists are here from noon to 3 for a reception, and that afternoon kicks off a silent auction of 30 of their pieces, hanging on our walls all month. Last bids are on Small Business Saturday – November 28 at 4PM, and art pickup is the next day. Plenty of time to drink a few pints and talk yourself into bidding up some art for an outstanding cause. 🎨
