We’re bringing back Hibisced a Girl to kick South Dakota Craft Beer Week a day early – but this isn’t just a rerun. Same attitude. New hop blend. Updated recipe. Even the label colors got a refresh.

Bru-1, Sabro, and Citra drive notes of pineapple, coconut, and bright citrus, while hibiscus adds a subtle floral edge and that signature soft blush hue. Crisp and expressive with restrained bitterness and a dry finish.

This beer is brewed to celebrate the women and nonbinary folks pushing this industry forward. Beer isn’t a boys club. Stop making it weird.

Food on site from Wild Guys. Even though they’re technically guys, we still invited them. The beer is inclusive. The tacos are too.

We’re releasing this year’s official South Dakota Craft Beer Week glass – the vessel of the week. Grab one before they’re gone and let us pour you a proper pint.
We’ll also have a pop-up shop from the SDCBW designer herself, Oh Geez! Design, starting at 3pm. If you’ve been eyeing the artwork or want something fresh for the collection to show a little local pride, this is your shot to grab it straight from the source.

West Coast Pils Collaboration with Fernson Brewing

South Dakota Craft Beer Week rolls on and we’ve got a good one – one we’ve been looking forward to for a while now. But you know… lagers.

We’re releasing Thank You Card, a West Coast Pils brewed with our friends from Fernson Brewing in Sioux Falls.

We don’t say thank you to our friends nearly enough. So instead of a handwritten note (which we actually received from the Fernson crew), we brewed a hopped-up pilsner for your drinking pleasure.
Dry hopped with Krush and HBC 1019, layered with Motueka hop extract for a bright citrus snap and a firm, crisp edge. Clean hop character, a little bite, and a dry finish. The kind of beer that just says… hey, thanks for drinking me.

It’s a nod to collaboration – which is really what South Dakota beer is built on. We all show up, eat and drink like it’s going out of style, load up on merch, hopefully brew something along the way, and a good time is had by all.

And if that wasn’t enough, MoonCats are back at 6pm 🎶 High-energy banjo, bass, washboard – the whole deal. It’ll be a hoot.

South Dakota Craft Beer Week is here and we’re kicking things off in Hill City with Pint Night at the Beer Garden.
Doors open at 2pm, and we’ll have the official South Dakota Craft Beer Week pint glasses available while they last. Grab one, fill it up, and settle in for a weekend of celebrating South Dakota beer.

We’ll be pouring beers all weekend, including some new releases rolling through the taps as Craft Beer Week rolls along.

Stay tuned for new extended Beer Garden hours starting April 1st as we head into the spring and summer season in Hill City.

MoonCats are BACK in the taproom during SD Craft Beer Week.

MoonCats have been lighting up the Midwest roots scene since 2018, and we are pretty jazzed to have them back where they belong – in our taproom. Based out of Pick City, ND, this trio blends banjo, upright bass, washboard, mandolin, harmonica, and guitar into a fiery acoustic sound that’s equal parts old-time grit and modern energy. They’ve toured across 12 states, played Blue Ox Music Festival, and most recently released their fourth album Animal Style after a successful Kickstarter campaign.

We’ll also be releasing Thank You Card – a West Coast Pils brewed in collaboration with Fernson Brewing out of Sioux Falls. Clean, crisp, hop-forward, dry finish. Built for long hangs.

You’ve almost made it through South Dakota Craft Beer Week, and we’re proud of you.

Now it’s Saturday. It’s St. Paddy’s Day. This is what we trained for.

Doors at 11am.

We’re dropping a brand new Irish Stout on Nitro, taproom-only. Smooth, dark, creamy head, built to be sipped slow while the room fills with the sweet, sweet sound of bagpipes.

…and to make your holiday weekend official, the hooligans from the Rapid City Firefighters Pipe & Drum Corps are swinging through – blowing bagpipes, banging drums, and sipping at least a pint or two.

Saturday, March 14 – Hill City Beer Garden

South Dakota Craft Beer Week rolls right into St. Paddy’s Day weekend, and we’re celebrating in Hill City with the return of our Irish Red Ale and the Hill City St. Paddy’s Day Pub Crawl!

We’re releasing Stick That In Your Pipe and Drum It, our collaboration with the Rapid City Firefighters Pipe & Drum Corps. A mellow, festive beer brewed with the loudest kilt-wearing firemen we know. Available for a limited time in cans and on tap!

The Hill City St. Paddy’s Day Pub Crawl kicks off at noon at 3 Forks Bar & Grille and makes its way through town before wrapping up at the Silver Dollar Saloon. Along the way you’ll hit stops including:
• Cohort Black Hills
• Chute Rooster
• One Mile of Hell
• Lost Cabin Beer Garden

Each stop has its own festivities, shamrock selfies, and a chance to collect gold coins with your drinks. Keep an eye out for the lucky leprechaun hiding around town for a shot at prizes.

So throw on something green, grab a pint, and join us in Hill City.

You survived another South Dakota Craft Beer Week. We believed in you all along. Some folks were doubting you…not us. Consider this good training for our TENTH anniversary – coming to a taproom near you this May!

Sunday is for winding down, high-fiving your friends, and pretending you paced yourself.
Both locations are pouring beermosas all day. Bright citrus. Cold beer. Brunch vibes.

And at 1:00pm in the taproom, our very own Matthew Teeslink – cellar guy, brewer, father, and occasional pinball high score holder – will be playing some tunes. Keeping it as local as possible.

We already said thank you once this week – but seriously. Thanks for showing up, showing out, and supporting South Dakota beer.
