Jackalope season opens Friday, November 13, at both taprooms. Jackalope Hunter is our hazy pale ale, 5.4%, pale gold and creamy, with tropical fruit up front and a little pine resin on the way out. It was born in 2018, when South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks asked the state’s breweries for a beer about outdoor tradition. We made ours for the rarest game in the Black Hills, the public voted, and the jackalope won. Nobody has ever caught a real one…yet, but all we can do is keep hunting. YoYo Hibachi has the flat top going at the Rapid City Taproom from 3 to 8, and if you want to dress for the hunt, our limited-edition Camo Hoodie drops the same day. Friday the 13th felt like the right day to go looking for mythical creatures. 🦌
