Did someone say bandwagon? Because weโre jumping on board! Itโs hard to ignore the Hazy IPA craze happening in the American Craft Beer scene right now, and our Woodshop Series #4 can explain why it has become such a phenomenon with just a single sip. The haze comes from an obscene amount of hops and the addition of barley and wheat. We have never made a beer with this many hops before, and with the majority of the hops being added late, or used for dry hopping, this beer is barely bitter. The mosaic and comet hops used yield a huge juicy nose filled with passion fruit, tangerine and grapefruit. The barley and wheat fill your mouth with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel and the absurd amount of hops will leave that juicy flavor resting on your tongue, making you yearn for another taste. You could stay at home and be stuck in your antiquated beer drinking ways, or you can come grab a pint and see what all the fuss is about. The choice is yours.
