Made with the recently rediscovered Fortunato No.4 cacao nibs, this Belgian beauty greets you with a deep brown/copper color and a tan head. The aroma gives away some of the secrets of this complex, malt forward beer. A bouquet of chocolate and caramel are indisputable, and hints of raisin and fig are playful in the background. All that dark malt lends the sweet caramel flavor that is put in check by the slight bitterness of the cacao nibs. After all the fun is over, you’ll be left with a mouth coating, off-dry finish and the thought of “maybe, just one more”.
